So I set up a "Recipes to try" board and got to pinning! I even added Jarrod as a contributor, but he has yet to see the beauty of Pinterest. (or blogging, or gmail...)
I'm happily pinning recipes for us to use in our regular monthly menu. (At the beginning of every month we take a look at the calendar and fill in meals. Our grocery shopping list comes from this menu. It is adjusted as things come up, but we mostly stick to the menu calendar all month long. I also just discovered Say mmm! and LOVE it!) At the beginning of the month we can pull up our board and give some new recipes a try. Perfection.
Some recipes from the board that I'm really anxious to try are:
- Easy Cheesy Zucchini Bake - maybe with some meat, beans or even quinoa it could be a main dish!
- Panko Crusted Chicken Stuffed with Ricotta, Spinach, Tomatoes, and Basil - We'd have to go with gluten-free bread crumbs, but this looks absolutely heavenly!
- Double Banana Chocolate Chip Breakfast Bars - you had me at chocolate and breakfast! These look delicious and easy to grab and go. In fact, I'd probably eat one on my way out the door to work and one after getting home before dinner is ready! :-)

Any chance you've done the calorie counts on these recipes, yet? They look awesome!
ReplyDeleteNot yet, but caloriecount.com does a great job. I'll definitely get on that, but here's the website: http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php
