Meal Planning and Pinterest

I've mentioned my love for Pinterest before but it was only after reading Heather's post that I realized that I was not utilizing Pinterest to it's full capacity! I'd used it mostly for nursery or home inspiration, but recipes could easily be pinned as well! I was previously using the antiquated system of having a draft e-mail in my drafts folder at all times with a running list of recipes I wanted to try. Not helpful.

So I set up a "Recipes to try" board and got to pinning! I even added Jarrod as a contributor, but he has yet to see the beauty of Pinterest. (or blogging, or gmail...)

I'm happily pinning recipes for us to use in our regular monthly menu. (At the beginning of every month we take a look at the calendar and fill in meals. Our grocery shopping list comes from this menu. It is adjusted as things come up, but we mostly stick to the menu calendar all month long. I also just discovered Say mmm! and LOVE it!) At the beginning of the month we can pull up our board and give some new recipes a try. Perfection.
