In just a few short weeks I will be walking 60 miles in 3 days because I believe in a world without breast cancer. I've done this before and am really excited to do it again this year. Last year was an interesting time because I was 31+ weeks pregnant. This year will be interesting again, I'm sure. I have not trained nearly as hard as year's past, but I am confident that I will do what needs to be done to make an impact and join the fight.
I recently posted on Facebook this incredible story. Bridget is why I'm walking. My grandma Shirley is why I'm walking. Your friends and family are why I'm walking. These folks, and countless others, are why I raise $2,300+ each year and walk 60 miles in 3 days. I believe in a world without breast cancer.
One of my favorite things about the 3-day are the cheering stations. It's a time to celebrate. I love seeing families cheering for loved ones because they believe in a world without breast cancer! You can help cheer too! Here's where we will be November 2-4, 2012. I hope to see many of you sporting your best pink in celebration of the fight!
