Pink-out the weekend! {Fight Breast Cancer!}

You know that I am committed to fighting breast cancer by walking 60 miles in 3 days for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Each year in order to participate, I am required to raise $2,300. This is an extremely high expectation for an extremely large impact. We cover DFW (and other cities) in pink for 3 days. I believe that this event (in addition to lots of other factors including research) will lead us to a world without breast cancer.

My sister had joined me the past several years in the walk. We have BOTH raised over $2,300 each, every year. It's challenging, but we step out on faith and rely on the generosity of others. We trust that others will join us in the fight. And every year I'm blown away by the donations I receive.

This year Courtney's husband Philip will be walking with us. He is an elementary school teacher and is an incredible human. Breast cancer has touched his family and he is dedicated to walking 60 miles in 3 days, even with a bunch of crazy women. Philip is close to his goal, but with 2 weeks left to go until the walk, he needs some help. Philip needs about $600 in the next 2 weeks in order to participate in the 3 day.

There is an urgency in this request. Because of that, and because I believe in Philip and a world without breast cancer, I'm asking you to help me pink-out this weekend. I will donate $20 for every $20 you donate this weekend towards Philip's 3-day for the Cure. Every dollar you donate is tax-deductible and will go towards the fight against breast cancer.
