2013 Goals

Jarrod and I have been making goals for the past few years. Check out our 2011 and our 2012 goals recaps. 2011 was a crazy year - we had a miscarriage, got pregnant, moved, got new jobs, and didn't have a baby. 2012 was just a crazy, but didn't have near as many changes...except our family expanded! This year we are anticipating a move (just 15 minutes or so), a job transition for Jarrod as he continues in the candidacy process and begins seminary, debt freedom, travel (Financial Peace Plaza and Taize, France!) and of course our little man who changes every day! Rather than do our goals in a traditional way, we opted to goal set based on months. Between travels and other huge life events, we decided it just made more sense and was less overwhelming to plan each month. Of course things will shift here or there, but we know we're more likely to hit something if we're aiming!

  1. You'll have to let us know when you visit Nashville to do your debt free scream!!! Phil and I did the exact same thing in April 2009 - we got to take a tour of Financial Peace Plaza, meet Dave, and stand with the team while they said a pre-show prayer. Then we went into a conference room and called in to do our scream. Best Day Ever!
