Happy Mother's Day to me! {Lisa Leonard Review}

A few weeks ago I was checking out some of my favorite blogs and I discovered that I'd won a giveaway from Bits of Splendor! Winning a giveaway is always fun, but this one was special because it was a $50 gift certificate to Lisa Leonard Designs! I'm probably the last person on the planet to discover the amazing Lisa Leonard, but now that I have, I'm obsessed.

I actually met Lisa at Blissdom - her breakout session was absolutely fantastic and has not only introduced me to new blogs, but influenced my writing. If you don't follow her blog, you should. She's absolutely adorable.

If you've never seen her jewelry, get excited. It's custom, handmade, and fair trade.

A few days after winning the giveaway, I received this beautiful envelope in the mail.
Definitely the most beautiful giftcard I've ever received!
Before the giftcard arrived, I had a few days to check out the website and pick out exactly what I wanted. I had been checking out this mama necklace - I even sent a link to Jarrod so that he knew what I wanted for Mother's Day. Once the giftcard arrived, I decided to let Jarrod pick a few things out and we'd pretend this was my official Mother's Day gift.

He initially picked out these gorgeous blue earrings but I opted instead to get two pairs of earrings from the Hope{full} fair trade earrings.

I was so excited when the package arrived!
How gorgeous are these bags? Each piece of jewelry was individually wrapped and so special.
I seriously cannot wait to wear these earrings. I went with these and these. I will be planning my outfits for the rest of the week around these gorgeous earrings.
I'd just come back from a walk with Wesley, but I immediately put the necklace on and do not plan to take it off except for sleeping. It's just so gorgeous!

I wasn't paid or perked at all. I received the gift certificate randomly with no expectation to write a review. I just wanted to share my thoughts and spread the Lisa Leonard Designs magic with you!
